Ulkaa Mail
Private email on your own domain
Bring your domain, keep as many addresses as you like on one account, and read personal and workspace mail side by side. Images stay blocked until you allow them, and Mail is free.
Your own domain
Add your domain and Ulkaa checks the DNS
Publish the records Ulkaa shows you. Each one is checked for you, and when they all pass the domain is ready for addresses.
- Ownership, MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC in one list
- A clear tick for every record that is right
- Create addresses once the domain is active
Many addresses
Several addresses on one account
Keep hello@ for the studio and you@ for yourself, then pick which address a message is sent from. The signature follows the address.
- Send as any address you hold
- Personal and workspace addresses in one picker
- A signature for each address
Search
Operators that narrow the list as you type
Combine from:, to:, subject:, has:attachment, is:unread, label:, before:, after: and larger: to find one message among thousands.
- Results update while you type
- Operators are listed beneath the search box
- Search every mailbox or just one scope
Undo and schedule
Take it back, or send it later
After Send there is a short window to undo, and the Send menu schedules the message for a time that suits the reader.
- Undo send, with a countdown
- Schedule for tomorrow or pick a date and time
- Scheduled messages stay in a Scheduled folder
Attachments
Attachments live in your Disk
Files you attach and receive are stored in your Disk, so there is one pool of storage to manage and one meter to watch.
- Attach from your computer or from Disk
- The storage meter is your Disk meter
- Free up space in Disk to open held attachments
Workspace mail
Company addresses, issued by an admin
A workspace on its own domain can give every member an address. The mail belongs to the workspace address, not to your personal account.
- Admins issue and manage addresses
- Members see them next to their own mail
- Policy decides which domains a workspace may use
One inbox, separate mailboxes
All, Personal or one workspace
Switch the whole app between every mailbox, your personal one, or a single workspace. A badge shows where each conversation lives.
- Personal and workspace mail never mix
- A badge for each conversation in All
- The folders and counts follow the scope
Your mail apps
Use Outlook, Apple Mail or your phone
Copy the IMAP and SMTP settings into any mail app, then make an app password for it. The password is shown once and can be revoked on its own.
- IMAP to read, SMTP to send
- One app password per app or device
- Never valid for signing in to Ulkaa
Safe by default
Sender checks, and pictures stay hidden
Outgoing mail is signed for your domain. Incoming mail shows its SPF, DKIM and DMARC results, and remote images load only when you say so.
- DKIM signing for every domain
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC results on each message
- Show images only when you choose to

Questions
Is Ulkaa Mail free?
Yes. Mail itself is free with every Ulkaa account and workspace. What it uses is storage: attachments and messages count toward your Disk, and Disk plans are priced on the Disk pricing page.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Add the domain, publish the DNS records Ulkaa shows you and Ulkaa checks them. Once the domain is active you can create addresses on it.
Can I have more than one address?
Yes. One account can hold several addresses on your domains, and you pick which one to send from. You can also link an address you keep elsewhere, which stays an alternate email without a mailbox here.
Can I use Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or my phone’s mail app?
Yes. Connect over IMAP and send over SMTP using the settings in Settings > Desktop Apps, with an app password instead of your Ulkaa password. POP3 client access is not offered.
Does my workspace see my personal mail?
No. Personal mail belongs to your personal addresses. A workspace address belongs to the workspace, and the two are kept apart even in the All mailboxes view.
Are images in messages loaded automatically?
No. Pictures from the web stay hidden until you choose Show images, which stops senders from tracking when you open a message.
